First used in the 1980’ties to describe the need to stop nuclear energy as well as the use of oil, the Energiewende at least since the year 2000 means essentially the movement to create energy by using renewable resources, sun, wind and water, as well as geothermal options. But the meaning goes much further and deeper and is stronger in any sense, because we have also to change the way we consume (less and more local!), the way we travel and transport us, lifeforms and other things (less traveling maybe, much less dirty by using i.e. electric cars, boats and planes!) as well as the housing sector (private and business buildings use much to much energy for heating and cooling, but also the materials used for building them are an important factor. But also the way we do business in general, the way the financial sector is build and works, the human and other lifeforms factor, all of this is part of the Energiewende.

That is why suggest a Energiewende:reloaded a program to change all of those sectors, our communities and the world we life in into a world we pass on to our children, maybe the first time in centuries in a cleaner state then we received it from our parents and grand-parents. Let’s clean the mess up now, before it is to late, let’s do the Energiewende:reloaded now!
